Description
The all-new Quad 303 Power Amplifier reimagines the iconic original.
The classic orange accents and design remain the same.
However, all new modern components are used to recreate the richly detailed Quad sound you know and love.
The original triples output stage is used but with an upgraded toroidal transformer that allows the unit to drive 4-ohm loads.
The amplifier cannot be upset even when overdriven by an asymmetrical signal or by shorting or disconnecting the loudspeakers.
A brand new 200VA, custom-specified, low-noise toroidal transformer has been developed for the new 303.
The output stage of the discrete circuit employs an advanced feedback topology to ensure superior linearity and exceptional thermal stability.
Through its Class AB design, the ideal current is maintained independently of the temperature of the output transistors.
An output of 70 Watts per channel, or the unit can also be used in bridge mode for an output of 140 Watts into 8 Ohms.
